Today was their last performance with us. And soon, all our band practices will only be with the sec 1s and 3s. How time really flies. Its only been 1and a half years that i get to meet such amazing seniors like them. Then they have to step down already. throughout the oneand a half years, i have really learnt a lot from claire, laura, yan yao and dionne. They have really been great seniors and im really thankful for all they have done. And i'll never forget all our section lunches, section outings and of course, sectionals and combine practices together. nicole sarah and me may not be as close to them as the sec3s are, but we'll also really miss them alot. i was really touched when yan yao started crying after receiving our thirds present to her. and she really liked it(;
it looked something like this:
just now : i met nicole sarah & lianne at parkway macdonalds to make yan yao's card. and rahmah met us there and said that macdonalds was lame so we moved to banquet and spent 1hour there. we finished at 4.45. earlier than expected. so we reached school earlier than expected also. but still, alot of people were there already. yan yao was late, so we waited till 6pm to give her the card. then she hugged all of us and cried. then the bus came. then we reached 7plus and saw fireworks. nice ones. and my shoe dropped at the stairs at VCH on the way up. hahah. then after the performance, i saw claire crying. then we gave yan yao the last letter to the card. letter 'L'. (we gave the 'O' 'V' 'E' before that. one at a time. ) then she undersstood our letter (which spells LOVE if you put the hearts tgether) and she hugged rahmah and nicole and cried alot more. and she hugged nicole g. and me and lianne too, and cried also. the bus ride home wasnt as quiet as last week. people were happily talking and laughing. except for poor nicole (who sat beside me). and i had to cheer her up. never mind the details. then we took a band photo at the foyer when we reached school. and also a section photo. using dionne's camera. and nobody wanted to leave so early. people were just hugging and taking photos and crying. omg it was such a sad atmosphere. cant blieve its alr their last performance. soon it'll be 2009, then 2010. then our turn to leave ); why does time fly by so fast .
after that nicole g. and i followed ther sec4 snrs to bubbletea shop for a drink. actually mum was fetching me alr, but nicole dragged me along because she alr told her mum she was going. so i went. and, lucky for nicole, she got to watch her 'the legend' show at bubble tea shop. hahah. the seniors were laughing and they thought it was hong kong or china drama series. they didnt think it was korean! haha. then had to take the bus to paya lebar mrt statn cos mummy was waiting there. went with nicole after her show ended at 9.30. at first they told me, 'walk to sing post cold storage'. so i was walking there, then dad called again and said, 'walk to tanjong katong complex cold storage'. so my freakishly painful feet and i walked all the way there. );
